The hotel had a beautiful country retreat atmosphere with a stunning location close to many beaches. The staff, especially Gaetano and Vivianna, were brilliant, friendly, and helpful. The gluten-free breakfast exceeded my expectations.
No negatives from this place.

On the positive side, this is a beautiful conversion of a splendid old building, well-located for visiting Siracusa, Noto, the Cava Grande etc. The pool is lovely and it is relatively quiet. The food is good, too.
But, and there are a few buts, it is hard to see it as a four-star hotel. Our room was not ready for an hour after we arrived, (and it was not that we arrived too early). There are not enough staff to provide a real service - you have to go and look for them. The bar did not have rum, three nights in a row. And the woman who served us breakfast looked as though she'd rather spit on our shoes than have to make coffee! I don't think she smiled once despite all our efforts to speak in Italian and thank her for deigning to bring us our drinks. And we had real problems finding the place. I hope they put up some more signs in the local area. (The directions from Booked.net were wrong as well - sent us up a tiny road with no turning space so that we had to reverse almost back to the main road.)

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and I was blown away by the level of comfort and quality of services provided. The location on the outskirts of Siracusa was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The pool area was absolutely stunning, creating a serene atmosphere for ultimate relaxation. The rooms were spacious and elegant, embodying the charm of an old Sicilian aristocratic setting. this place exceeded my expectations and allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation while also exploring nearby cities and historical sites such as Syracusa, Ragusa, Noto, and Pantalica.
I highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Nice building, have an outdoor swimming pool and a nice garden. The parking is also convenient.
We have been accommodated in very dark room, with a high celling, so we immediately felt depressed from the atmosphere of the room. The place radiating a posh feeling, which did not really suit to our expectations. The breakfast table was not exactly faboulous for a four star standard and the capucino was awful actually. However, the other rooms might be nicer and could give you a better feeling, but we had the feeling it is a very much overpriced place to stay compared to our expectations.

Enchanting palaces, beautiful interior, These are the most beautiful rooms I have ever seen, and I was in a lot of hotels with 5 stars. Comfort, pleasure, romance ... as if you return to a past century, Baroque or Renaissance. We enjoyed everything there

Very nice hotel in an old villa. Beautiful building and beautiful property, although it is a little outlying. You need definitely a vehicle to reach it. Open air pool. Comprehensive breakfast.
No hot water in the room at 04.00 pm and at 07.30 pm but in the morning. No WiFi reception in the room. No WiFi access at the reception, because nobody knew the password. But public and free Internet computer at the reception.

We had a lovely stay at this historic hotel. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout our 11-day stay. Special mention to the chef and service staff who were exceptional and professional. The hotel's beautiful renovations were a standout feature, and the elegant rooms were kept clean and tidy. The in-ground pool area was gorgeous, surrounded by the serene surroundings of an orchard. The hotel's location was also convenient, being a short drive away from the beaches and the nearby city. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind from the stresses of city life.
There were a few aspects of our stay that left much to be desired. The hotel's location was quite far from town, making it necessary to have a car to get around.
